Bereavement support

Bereavement affects everyone differently. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and the support that feels most helpful will vary from person to person and may change over time.

Farleigh Hospice offers a range of bereavement support for adults following the death of someone who was cared for by our services. Our aim is to provide the right support, at the right time, recognising that some people benefit from information and guidance, whilst others may find counselling, therapeutic groups or volunteer support more appropriate.

The support we offer

Resources and information

After a bereavement, it can be hard to know what might help or where to begin. We’ve gathered a range of bereavement resources and recommendations that you can explore at your own pace, whenever you feel ready.

A group of people sit in a circle on brightly coloured chairs in a bright, welcoming room, taking part in a Citizens Advice group session. Notebooks, papers, and cups sit on a small table in the centre as participants talk, listen, and share guidance together.

Support after a bereavement

If your family member was cared for by Farleigh Hospice, we offer emotional and practical support to help you cope following a bereavement.

Children and young people
