A referral can be made to Farleigh Hospice by health and social care professionals, people living with life-limiting illnesses, or their families or carers.
Farleigh Hospice is here to support adults living with a life-limiting illness in mid Essex and their families and carers.
We help each person live as well as possible for as long as possible and, when the time comes, receive care that is comfortable, dignified, and shaped around what matters most to them.
Our care is provided at home, across the community, at our hospice building and when needed, in our Inpatient Unit. We work alongside other health professionals to ensure that each person and their family receive the right support at the right time.
Our Specialist Palliative Care Team can provide symptom management for adults living within Chelmsford, Braintree, and Maldon Primary Care Trust areas and who are registered with a GP in the area.
Our Psychological and Wellbeing Team support people living with life-limiting illnesses, and their families and carers, ensuring their emotional, social, spiritual and psychological needs are at the centre of their care. We offer bereavement support to those who are bereaved of a person who died under the care of Farleigh Hospice.
