Annual Quiz - Answers and Winners announced

Thank you to everyone who took part in our 2025 annual quiz.

Farleigh Hospice Annual Quiz 2025 titled "Goggle-box: TV programmes past and present," showing answers and winners with a vintage TV illustration. With your wonderful support, we’ve raised over £5,000 so far! With money still coming in, we are hopeful that in 2025 we will set a new record.

We are now delighted to announce our winners – congratulations to you all!

1st Prize – Sue Mills, Witham

2nd Prize – Susan Marlow, Great Baddow

3rd Prize – Karl Peet, Haywards Heath

4th Prize – Jean Hatley, Little Waltham

A special thank you to this this year’s winner. Sue has generously donated her prize money back to Farleigh. She said, “As a family we enjoy the mental challenge of the Annual Quiz each year rather than hoping to win any prize. I would like to donate my £100 back to Farleigh as I know that hospices are receiving considerably less financial support from organisations and individuals these days towards their excellent work.”

We hope you found the quiz both challenging and entertaining, all while raising vital funds for Farleigh. You can now find all the answers below.

Many thanks to Chris Hibbitt and Jackie Thomson for creating such a wonderful quiz once again, and our sponsors, the Chelmsford 41 Club.
