Farleigh Hospice is a high performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people with life limiting illness in the Mid Essex region. Our team at Farleigh has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community and we are looking for highly motivated House Clearance Administrator & Co-ordinator to join our Logistics and House Clearance Team.
House Clearance Administrator & Co-ordinator is required to work along side the House Clearance and Logistics manager to co-ordinate the daily work load. This will involve scheduling deliveries and collections for the furniture stores, scheduling house clearance work (skip bookings , personnel requirements etc) , receiving calls from the general public about their furniture donations (filtering the calls and booking in collections) and scheduling the weekly all stores transfer run.
You will be a motivated person who is able to:
- Work alone or as part of a team
- Work under pressure ensuring all the logistics tasks are completed daily
- Provide a good customer service experience whilst dealing with collection and delivery bookings
- Provide a professional compassionate service whilst dealing with house clearance bookings
You will have IT skills in basic Office software, a good telephone manner and ability to schedule work in a sensible and cost effective manner. Good communication skills are essential as is working in a lively and fast moving department.
