Farleigh Hospice is a high performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people with life limiting illness in the Mid Essex region.
Our services continue to evolve to meet the needs of our community, and our people are at the heat of everything we do. We are now seeking an experience and forward thinking Head of People and Organisational development to join our People and Operations Team.
About this role: this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping a high-performing, inclusive and values-driven culture. You will lead the delivery of our People strategy and drive organisational effectiveness across the hospice.
Working closely with the Executive team and senior leaders, you will deliver strategic HR initiatives, strengthen leadership capability and ensure our workforce is engaged, skilled and aligned to our organisational objectives.
About you: we are looking for a strategic HR leader who combines expertise with commercial awareness.
You will bring:
• Significant senior HR leadership experience, ideally within a complex organisation
• Proven track record in organisational development, transformation, and culture change
• Experience of leading and developing high-performing HR teams
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Data-driven, with the ability to translate insight into action
• CIPD qualified (Level 7 or equivalent) or demonstrable equivalent experience accompanied by a management qualification
