Farleigh Hospice is a high performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people with life limiting illness in the Mid Essex region. Our team at Farleigh has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community we serve.

We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser to support a short-term project reviewing and strengthening our Trusts & Foundations income stream. This is a hands-on role focused on analysing our current programme, identifying opportunities, and helping build a more strategic, sustainable pipeline for growth.

What you'll do:

  • Review our current Trusts & Foundations pipeline, applications, and performance
  • Identify risks, gaps, and immediate opportunities to grow income
  • Develop and prioritise a pipeline of high-value prospects
  • Improve processes, systems, and tracking
  • Strengthen funding bids, propositions, and case for support
  • Create practical tools and templates to improve consistency and efficiency
  • Support the development of a realistic and sustainable fundraising plan

About you

  • Strong experience in Trusts & Foundations fundraising
  • Proven ability to write successful funding applications
  • Confident analysing pipelines, data, and performance
  • Able to quickly identify opportunities and implement improvements
  • Highly organised, self-directed, and comfortable working on a project basis
