Support our Light Up a Life Appeal 2026
Christmas can be especially difficult when someone you love has died. Through Farleigh Hospice’s Light Up a Life appeal, you can remember someone special while helping us bring compassionate care and comfort to local families who need us now.
Give a gift in their name. We will add their name to a decoration which will be added to the beautiful Christmas tree that is displayed in our hospice Sanctuary. As a thank you we’ll send you a card made from and your own decoration.
Share your memories, photos and words on our tribute page, alongside others who are remembering someone they love this Christmas.
Our Light Up a Life services are special candlelight remembrance events taking place across mid Essex this November and December. Everyone is warmly invited to join us to remember loved ones and help keep the light of hospice care shining for local families.
When Soraya’s husband, Stewart, became very ill, Farleigh Hospice provided the compassionate care and specialist support they needed.
Soraya said. "He was a lovely, kind, practical man who would do anything for anybody. With support from a Farleigh counsellor, Stewart was able to talk about difficult things like planning ahead and his funeral, which helped us feel less afraid of the future"
By donating to our Light Up a Life appeal you will help us to keep making a real difference when and where it is needed the most.
£10 a month could help us run our Clinical Advice Line, providing vital support to patients and loved ones.
£24 could pay for a beautiful hand cast to keep as a special memory of a loved one.
£52 could pay for two hours of counselling to support a patient with advanced planning.
£76 could pay the unfunded costs of two hours of care in the specialist Inpatient Unit.
