At the heart of care in our community
Farleigh Hospice is a local charity providing specialist care and support for adults in mid Essex living with a life-limiting illness.
We focus on helping people live as well as possible, with care that respects dignity, choice and what matters most to each person.
Each year, we support over 3,000 people, providing care in their homes, in the community and within our hospice. We take time to listen and tailor our support so people can manage symptoms, maintain independence and feel supported throughout their illness.
We also support families and carers, as well as offering bereavement support for adults and families. All our care is provided free of charge, thanks to the generosity of our local community, including donations, gifts in Wills, volunteering and fundraising.

Working together for our community
We work closely with local health and social care partners to provide joined-up, responsive care.
Our teams of nurses, doctors, therapists, counsellors and trained volunteers deliver clinical, practical, emotional and wellbeing support tailored to each person’s needs.
Volunteers play an important role at Farleigh Hospice and make a real difference to the people we support. You can find out more about volunteering or fundraising if you would like to get involved.

Our compassionate care is only possible because of people like you. Your support truly makes a difference.
Your support makes our care possible
Our care is provided free of charge to everyone who needs it.
This is only possible thanks to the generosity of our community. Through donations, fundraising, gifts in Wills and volunteering, local people help us continue to be there for those facing life-limiting illness.
Every contribution helps us support more people and their families when it matters most.
