Help hospice care live on

Hospice care is there for people and families at some of the most difficult times in life. It helps people live as well as possible, for as long as possible, and provides care and support at the end of life.

At Farleigh Hospice, this care is free of charge. But it is not free to provide.

As part of the national This is Hospice Care campaign, we are asking you to consider leaving a gift in your Will, so this care can continue for future generations.

Hospice care is more than you might think

Hospice care is not just about the final days of life. It can support people over months or even years, helping them manage symptoms, maintain independence, and feel more like themselves.

It also supports families and carers, both during illness and through bereavement.

Across the UK, hospices support more than 310,000 people each year, but this care depends heavily on charitable support.

Why gifts in Wills matter

While hospices receive some NHS funding, much of the care we provide is funded by our community.

Gifts in Wills play a vital role in making hospice care possible, helping to fund around one fifth of hospice income nationally.

By leaving a gift in your Will, you can help ensure that:

  • people receive compassionate, specialist care
  • families are supported through some of the hardest moments in their lives
  • hospice care continues to be there for everyone who needs it
