Monthly Sound Meditation Sessions

Join us for a calming and restorative sound meditation session to relax, restore and nourish your mind, body and spirit.

A sound bath is a meditative experience where you lie down and let resonant sounds wash over your body to promote deep relaxation.

Our volunteer Amanda, from Soluna Healing will be leading these monthly sessions.

The start date will be 6 November 2026 and will then be on the First Friday of the month.

10.30am – 11.30am

Farleigh Hospice, North Court Road, Broomfield, Chelmsford, CM1 7FH

Spaces will be limited to 10 per session so please book in by emailing [email protected] or calling 01245 457308

Key benefits:

  • Stress and anxiety reduction: The soothing frequencies help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which can lower heart rate, ease muscle tension, and decrease stress hormones like cortisol.
  • Better sleep quality: Deep relaxation and nervous system regulation make it easier to transition into sleep and manage insomnia or sleep disturbances.
  • Mental clarity and focus: The ambient sounds give the mind a simple point of focus, clearing away racing thoughts and improving concentration.
  • Brainwave entrainment: Rhythmic vibrations can help shift active brain activity from high-stress “beta” waves into slower, meditative “alpha,” “theta,” or “delta” waves.
  • Emotional release and support: The practice creates a quiet space for emotional processing, helping people feel grounded, centered, and supported during therapeutic or mindfulness work.
  • Physical tension relief: Some studies and anecdotal reports note that deep sound vibrations may help improve circulation, reduce blood pressure, and ease chronic pain symptoms.

Who should attend? This group is for individuals with advanced, non-curable conditions and their carers, offering a low-effort practical tool to help manage symptoms.
