Asking for donations in memory at a funeral is a meaningful way to honour your loved one while supporting local hospice care. There are different ways to give, and we are here to help you choose what feels right for you.
In-person funeral collections
If you are arranging a collection at the funeral service, we can provide everything you need.
Our collection packs include:
- A collection box for cash and cheques
- Envelopes for Gift Aid details
- A personalised in-memory dedication card
You can use these during the service and return donations to us afterwards.
How to get your collection pack
You can:
- Have a pack sent to your home address
- Collect from our hospice: North Court Road, Chelmsford, CM1 7FH
- Collect from one of our Farleigh Hospice shops across mid Essex

Online funeral collections
An online funeral collection page is a simple and meaningful way to remember your loved one and allow friends and family to give in their own time.
Pages can be personalised with photos, messages, and memories, creating a lasting tribute that reflects their life.
They are especially helpful for:
- Friends and family who cannot attend the funeral
- Reducing the need to handle donations on the day
- Making Gift Aid easier to claim, increasing donations by 25%
