Springfield Open Gardens 2025

Visit this north Chelmsford suburb to discover a variety of gardens showcasing summer blooms.
Spend a few hours meandering through the north Chelmsford suburb of Springfield to enjoy a variety of residential gardens. Gardens vary from small and secluded to mid-sized and modern, and all will be showcasing summer blooms.
Refreshments, plants and produce will be available in various gardens, and some gardens are within walking distance of each other.
Entry to the event is via wristband and programme.
Advance booking can be made by clicking on the above “Book a place” link or from any of the Farleigh Hospice shops. Please exchange your payment confirmation email or shop ticket for an event programme and wristband at The Boswells School car park, Burnham Road, Chelmsford, CM1 6LY (use what3words https://w3w.co/silk.save.gains). On the day event wristbands and programmes are available to purchase from The Boswells School or any open garden (look for the promotional estate agent boards).
Dogs – please note that it is at each garden owner’s discretion whether they allow dogs to visit, so please check with the owner on the day if you are bringing a dog along.
