Discover a wide variety of gardens in the picturesque villages of Danbury and Little Baddow
Enjoy your perfect summer’s day and be sure you set aside plenty of time to explore our largest open gardens event with lots of family fun on offer in its 26th year of opening!
Enthusiastic garden owners will be happy to talk to you as you explore these usually hidden gems and their beautiful gardens are sure to offer you plenty of inspiration for your own green spaces.
In addition to the many and varied gardens, Danbury Village Green will be host to local craft stalls, ice cream, family-friendly games and much more. You can also enjoy a ride on the Danbury and Little Baddow Bus Link, which provides a shuttle between the gardens.
Returning for the second year, the village hall will be opening the 'All Day Cafe' offering meals, cake and beverages to provide all the fuel you need for your open gardens visit.
Entry to the event is via wristband and programme. Advance booking can be made by clicking on the above “Book a place” link or from any of the Farleigh Hospice shops.
On the day, please exchange your payment confirmation email or shop ticket for an event programme and wristband at Danbury Village Green, Eve’s Corner, CM3 4QF (use what3words https://w3w.co/lied.unsigned.scorecard). On the day event wristbands and programmes are available to purchase at Danbury Village Green or any open garden (look for the promotional estate agent boards).
Dogs – please note that it is at each garden owner’s discretion whether they allow dogs to visit, so please check with the owner on the day if you are bringing a dog along.
