Channel your inner Monty Don or Charlie Dimmock and come and help us keep the grounds at Farleigh a place for us all to appreciate.
The Farleigh Hospice gardening club meets every Thursday from 10am to 1pm. The club is open to all friends of Farleigh Hospice, patients and their families, staff, volunteers, friends and neighbours. You can come every week or sporadically to fit in around your schedule, whatever suits you. Our Farleigh garden space is vitally important to patient wellbeing providing a calming outdoor space to enjoy.
The Farleigh Hospice gardens have an area to suit every gardening preference. We’ve got vegetable patches, wildflower areas and even have a sensory garden featuring surfaces, objects, and plants that stimulate each of the five senses.
We’d love to see you there. Come along, make new friends and finesse your gardening skills as we work together on different projects in the gardens. Bring your own mug, gardening gloves, and small tools (e.g. trowel, fork, spade – not electrical equipment) and we’ll provide the tea, coffee and biscuits!
Numbers will be limited each week, so please book in by emailing gardeningclub@farleighhospice.org
