Forget-me-not: remember your loved ones with Farleigh
Tuesday 13th June
- Appeals
Be part of our appeal and join us at our remembrance service on Saturday 8 July.
Our Forget-me-not appeal and annual remembrance service are thoughtful ways to celebrate the lives of loved ones and to support Farleigh Hospice.
You can share your memories and thoughts about someone special, with the option of making a donation, on our online Memory Garden dedication page. These Forget-me-not messages will be handwritten onto a postcard and displayed on our beautiful, cherished heart at the remembrance service and then in the peaceful Sanctuary at our hospice building in Chelmsford.
You can also make a Forget-me-not donation without leaving a memory. Any money you can give will help Farleigh to provide hospice care, free of charge, to local people affected by life-limiting illnesses and bereavement.
With your support, we can continue to be there for people like Garry and his wife Julie. We cared for Julie at the end of her life and have provided counselling to Garry through our Circle adult bereavement service. Please click here to read their story.
We hope you can join us at our Forget-me-not service in the grounds of our hospice building in North Court Road, Chelmsford on Saturday 8 July. This short service is open to anyone who would like to remember the life of a loved one and will include readings, performances from the Farleigh Hospice choir and time for quiet reflection. Refreshments will be available afterwards.
Children, aged 4 to 16, can attend the service or a special arts and crafts session run at the same time by our Yo-Yo Project team.
The remembrance service and children’s session are both free to attend but you will need to pre-book your tickets by clicking here or calling 01245 457351.
