Farleigh Hospice Heroes adapt to meet new challenges

It’s been a year since our lives changed forever. The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically affected how community services like hospice care can be delivered. Our heroic team has adapted quickly to ensure we continue to deliver our vital services.
With referral rates increasing by more than 18%, our hospice heroes have worked around the clock to pandemic-proof our services.
We want to take this opportunity to share with you just one of the amazing things our Farleigh Hospice Heroes’ have achieved; From April to December 2020, on average our heroes made 1,000 home visits every month.
The quote below says it better than we ever could. And is just one example of the praise our heroes receive daily from patients and their families:
“I wanted to say ‘Thank you’ for the wonderful care my Mum received from all at Farleigh. Many people were involved … there are so many and you are all amazing.
