Appointment of Farleigh Hospice’s new Chief Executive
Message from Keith Spiller, Chair of Trustees at Farleigh Hospice
In January, we told you that our Chief Executive, Alison Stevens, will be retiring in the summer to spend more time with her family.
Keith Spiller, Farleigh Hospice Chairs Said, "On behalf of Farleigh Hospice’s Trustees, I am delighted to announce that we have appointed Sarah Green as our new Chief Executive. She will take up the role in mid-June.
Sarah will be joining us from The Katie Piper Foundation where she has been the Chief Executive Officer since October 2018.
She has a wealth of valuable experience and knowledge, having worked for over twelve years in the hospice sector. This includes eight years as the Director of Income and Communications at St Helena Hospice in Colchester.
We are confident that Sarah’s strong leadership skills and commitment to providing excellent local hospice care will enable Farleigh to overcome the continuing challenges we will no doubt face.
As importantly, we also look forward to working with Sarah to create and seize opportunities as they occur, so that Farleigh Hospice can support everyone in mid Essex facing the end of their life to live well and die well, both now and in the future."
