Courtyard Cafe

The Courtyard Café is located at Farleigh Hospice, Chelmsford and is open from 10am – 3pm. Serving a selection of sandwiches, light meals, treats and snacks, our food is freshly prepared on the day and served to order.

What are the café opening times?
10am – 3pm (last booking taken at 2pm)

How do I book a table?
Fill in the form here, email catering@farleighhospice.org or call 01245 457340. Please book at least 24 hours in advance.

Do you have any restrictions on the number of people we can book together?
We are currently only able to accommodate 6 people in a group

Can I visit the café without a booking?
Yes you are able to pop into the café at any time but we will be unable to guarantee availability of certain food items or tables unless we receive a booking in advance

Do I need to pre-order?
In order to guarantee we will have particular food items available for you, please order main courses, cakes and afternoon tea in advance

How do I pay?
We can take payments by cash or card at the Welcome Desk. (Contactless card payments are preferred if possible)

Can we park?
Parking is not guaranteed but it is available in the grounds

Can I park at Farleigh and then visit Broomfield hospital
Unfortunately not as the car park is purely for Farleigh staff, volunteers, visitors and patients. You are able to park here if you are visiting Farleigh or the café but will need to relocate your car if you are then going on to the hospital
